What are good strategies to use with a blue / black deck in MTG?

I have a blue / black deck, but I have too many cards (about 85 in my deck). What strategy should I use? This will help me cut my deck size.

U / B is usually an important color combination known for playing more of a controlling strategy. they tend to try and keep you from success with your strategy using counters and removal spells. they also tend to rely on the many benefits of card "tempo".
