Entering the fourth quarter of 2009, which can only mean the holiday season is fast approaching. No industry gets greater attention in months closer to Christmas and Hanukkah that the video game business, which always manages to produce nationwide hot sellers. Many titles are still important of liberation in the following months, many of which are for the Nintendo Wii.

Here are some of the eagerly awaited games for the Wii hit stores just in time for those starting their Christmas shopping.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games (13 October 2009, MSRP $ 49.99): Following the success of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, which was aimed at the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, it seemed natural that Nintendo would release a game similar to the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver. These events include skiing skiing, ice hockey, figure skating, bobsleigh, and the half pipe snowboarding. Unlike the summer version, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games make optional use of the Wii Balance Board and players can compete in all Olympic Festival with the new mode.

Its form (24 November 2009 MSRP $ 69.99): The functionality of the Nintendo Wii system has allowed different fitness titles to hit the market and become a great success. The Wii EA Sports games fit and active are two of the most popular exercises, aimed at the games that have done big business for Nintendo, and produced great results for consumers. Now, Ubisoft is about to enter the game as a game hosted by Jenny McCarthy fitness using a camera included to customize an exercise program oriented specific body of an individual and their goals.

LEGO Rock Band (3 November 2009, $ 49.99 MSRP): It is always interesting to see two franchises successful merge into one, when we talk about video games. In recent years, no videogame genre has been more popular than music, with Rock Band Guitar Hero titles and sweeping the nation. LEGO franchise has also done well for itself, with its cute characters and fun game that made LEGO Star Wars Lego Batman and Lego Indiana Jones incredible success. Just as each franchise is continuing to produce their own games, LEGO and Rock Band, will meet in this season's holiday LEGO Rock Band. No instrument package has been announced for this title but the game itself allows players to jam away using instruments other sets of Rock Band, while the characters of LEGO games on the screen.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii (4th quarter 2009, $ 49.99 MSRP): From Super Mario 64 was released for the Nintendo 64 system, the franchise Mario Mario has been basically very open to exploring 3D worlds. But this holiday season, Nintendo intends to remember where it comes, when the company notified the New Super Mario Bros. Wii, will use the side-scrolling formula which initially put him as a success in the original Nintendo and Super Nintendo systems. This game, of course, make use of the Wii controls allow players to use characters other than Mario and supports the multiplayer games for up to four players.
