Can I buy an adapter to handset to a TV using a SCART cable to connect to the TV?
I have a TV that has a connector headphones and other audio output so a hi-fi wont work well. Is there any type of SCART adapter i can use to add a headphone jack / Output jacks to the game – via RCA or SCART? (PS I can not use the output connectors on my DVD player as its only has 1 SCART socket. My reason for wanting headphones is what I use my xbox360 and not disturb my sleeping partner, the Xbox is running through the RCA plugs) Please Help Me
I've never heard talk of a gap and I'm not sure that the output signal of low level lead scart headphones. Get some sound, but is very tame. The potential problem is the headphones are a relatively low impedance load, while the scart is designed to be connected to a high impedance. This could lead to equipment damage. If you're handy with a soldering iron and screwdriver, you can add your own 3.5mm connector can use the TV amplifier ring and speaker (s) when connecting headphones. Another alternative is to buy a headphone amplifier and connect the RCA / Scart to entry and exit for headphones. That was working well and should not cost too much.
